Maze of Terror

Hi ya’ll, it’s about that time when we transform the peaceful corn maze into a spooky and haunted Maze of Terror. Last year we had tons of people come out and “Get Scared” in our maze. This year we’ve made the trail longer (approx:20-25 minutes) and added new spooks along with bigger and better scenes that are sure to scare the pants off you.

The Maze of Terror is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in October plus November 1st from 7:30pm until 10pm. If you have a ticket and are in line by 10pm you’re guaranteed to go through, so gather your friends and come out and spend a very spooky night with us.

The 2008 Maze of Terror features returning favorites:
The Grim Reaper, Chainsaw Hillbillies, Michael Myers and Freddy Krugger

New Maze Photos

We finally got around to taking a few photos of the maze grounds since we completed all the additions. The maze has been open for a few weeks now and so far the response to everything we’ve done has been tremendous. We really appreciate the Stanly Power Equipment for sponsoring the maze this year, it’s proving t be an exciting partnership. It was getting late when the photos were taken but there was still enough sunlight to get some good shots. As you can see, the corn is holding up very well and the Cotton Patch Maze has perked up nicely (the kids love this maze). If you’re looking for something to do with the family, jump in the car, head out to Millingport and “Get Lost”. Don’t forget, we’ve got a brand new covered picnic area where you can sit and relax or have a quiet picnic before beginning you’re excursion. Hope to see you soon!

2008 Corn Maze Is Open

Hi! Kent here and I’m excited to announce the 2008 Get Lost Corn Maze is officially open. Last year saw many residents of Stanly and surrounding counties visit and “get lost” in our maze. This year we hope to add to that excitement with the addition of a Pumpkin Patch Maze and Cotton Patch Maze, plus a covered picnic area where you and your family can eat lunch or just hang out.

We hope that your family gets as much enjoyment out of this year’s Corn Maze as we did building it! Our family would like to invite your family to come out and “Get Lost” in this years maze. Oh and don’t forget to come back after dark in October when we turn the fantastic corn maze into the haunted Maze of Terror.

And remember…Presidents, Senators and Congressmen get in for free!

We’ve Got A Maze

Hey everyone, just thought I’d drop a note along with a few photos we took of the maze. It doesn’t look like the corn is going to be as tall as it should be but I think we’ve gotten enough rain that it’ll be high enough and thick enough to block all the trails so “getting lost” should be pretty easy. We had a blast creating the maze this year and are already working on plans for the 2009 maze(s). Hope to see you soon, until then here’s a few photos of the progress.
