Friday, September 30, 2011- The 2011 season is well under way now.  We have had some rain and unusually hot weather to contend with over the last few weekends, but it looks like we might get a cool, dry spell over the next couple days…perfect weather for checking out the “Get Lost” Corn Maze this year!  If you are noticing that it looks a little different around the Maze this season, Piedmont Landscaping, located in Stanly County, has spruced up things for us a bit!  Many thanks go out to Buddy, Dusty, and their crew for all of the hard work they put into their projects at Piedmont Landscaping.

Wednesday, October 6, 2010 – Fall has finally arrived and we know how eager you are to make it to the maze this season.  You’ve got the remainder of October to come enjoy the famous Corn Pit, pick out a pumpkin to take home for carving, and get lost in over 7 1/2 acres of corn!  We can’t wait to see you this season!!

Sunday, September 19, 2010 – That homemade ice-cream sure has been a life-saver in this heat!  And the lemonade has really helped quench a lot of thirst this weekend.  They’re calling for another hot week (up in the mid-90’s, I heard them say), but the weekend is supposed to cool down some.  So go grab your walking shoes and come get lost with us!

Thursday, October 22, 2009“Rain, rain, go away…fans only have eight more days!” That’s right – the Corn Maze is open for only four more weekends.  I know it’s been a wet season, but the leaves are now turning those beautiful autumn colors, the cooler air has settled in, and the Maze is eagerly awaiting your visit.  Hope to see you soon!!

Sunday, September 27, 2009 – Okay, fans… where ARE you?  You mean you’ll let a little rain keep you away from some good corn maze fun?!  For the groups who have been out this weekend, they’ve had a blast (and thanks for being so waterproof!).  For those of you still wanting to give it a try this weekend, we’ll be open as scheduled.  If the Corn Maze does happen to get rained out, though, we’ll be sure to let you know on the website.  So, no news is open news.

Speaking of opening, The Maze of Terror is going to kick off a new and spooktacular season this upcoming weekend.  On Friday night, October 2nd, we will proudly present to you this year’s haunted corn maze and the new attraction appropriately named the Hillbilly Woods of Fear.  Walk through the scare… if you dare!

Saturday, September 19, 2009 – If you really want to test your corn maze skills, come visit us tonight for a special event…it’s the September Starlight Maze. We’ll be opening at 8:30 this evening and selling tickets until 10:00 pm (park will close at 11:30 pm).  For those of you who have already been out to the daytime maze, come on back and see if you can *still* find your way out!  And for those of you who haven’t taken a turn at maneuvering through our life-sized puzzle yet but are looking for something unique to do this evening, come visit us.  Find your way here, and we’re sure you’ll find fun!

Saturday, September 5, 2009 – We celebrated our Grand Opening today!  Season III has officially begun!  We have a lot to offer you this year, so we hope to see  ya’ll ’Get’n Lost’ with us real soon…

Saturday, August 29, 2009 – Well, less than a week to go before Season III begins at the “Get Lost” Corn Maze!!!  We hear that a lot of you are very excited about this season.  We’ve been working hard to make some changes this year that we think you are going to like. We’ve expanded the size of the corn maze and we’ve added more length to the right and wrong trails.  We’ve even added a “halfway exit” this year so, if you are completely lost and just want out, you can exit early!

We’ve had a pretty rough last few months around here with our family - between emergency room visits (a busted chin, an appendectomy, a broken arm, and a “passing out event!”), car accidents (a deer, a head-on collision), and all of the recovery that has had to take place in our family over the summer, we’ve run a bit behind schedule with preparing for the grand opening this year.  Because of this we want to give a special thanks to the work crew that has helped us pull everything together in the last few weeks… Barbee, Bit, Josh, Doh-Doh, and all of the others who have given their time and effort into making Season III a reality for us! And thanks to all of our friends on Facebook…we’ll be seeing ya’ll very soon!
